Building Workouts

Build reusable workout templates in your workout library.

A workout is a reusable template in your library - a named collection of exercises with sets and targets. Build it once, then assign it to any athlete or group whenever you need it (see Assigning Workouts).

Your workout library

Open Workouts to see every template as a card - name, exercise count, and a preview of the first few exercises. Click Add Workout to start a new one, or open a card to edit it.

Building a workout

Each workout has:

  • Name - shown to athletes.
  • Description - setup or instructions, visible to athletes.
  • Private note - coaching cues or reminders only you see, never shown to athletes.
  • Exercises - an ordered, drag-and-drop list. Add exercises from your exercise library, then break each one into sets.

You can group exercises into supersets when they should be performed back-to-back.

Sets and tracking

Each set tracks whichever metrics the exercise is set up for:

  • Weight (kg)
  • Reps - including ranges like "8–10" or "8+", and separate left/right counts for single-limb movements
  • Distance
  • Duration - in seconds, with left/right variants
  • Height - for jump-type exercises

Every set also has a rest timer. Once you save a workout, its exercises keep the tracking fields they had at the time - editing the exercise later won't retroactively change workouts that already used it.
